Buying overseas can seem daunting so here is a simple step by step guide so you can see at a glance what is involved. Please refer to the Legalities page and the Terms of Stage Payments. Please request a Legal Pack which will include:

• Binding Sale and Purchase Agreement

• Maintenance Agreement

• Owner's Charter

• Indonesian Lease Agreement (in English)

1. Choose your Villa and you will be asked to pay a Holding Deposit to secure your Villa. Should finance be required please see Mortgages under the Investment Section.

2. Sign the Binding Sale and Purchase Agreement which is to be witnessed by a colleague (not a family member). At this time the First Payment of 10% of the inclusive purchase price is to be paid, less the initial Holding Deposit. At this point you may wish to seek legal advice either from your home country or Indonesia.

3. Continue with stage payments during construction of your Villa.

4. On satisfactory completion of your Villa final payment is made and the Lease Agreement is then signed in the presence of an Indonesian Notary in Bali.
