Citizens from these
countries will be able to apply for a Holiday Visa (Visa on Arrival)
valid for either 7 or 30 days upon arrival by air in Bali, Jakarta and a
few other international airports. A 7-day Visa costs US$10 and a 30-day
Visa costs US$25. The Holiday Visa cannot be extended or converted into
any other type of Visa. Also be aware that Immigration officials
calculate the 30-day period as follows: your arrival day is counted as
your first day and you must leave the country on the 30th day.
How to obtain the Holiday Visa (Visa on Arrival)
Travelers from the above must be in possession of a passport which is
valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival and the completed
embarkation/disembarkation card they received from the airline. Arriving
travelers with Holiday Visa status have to go first to one of the Visa
on Arrival Counters before proceeding to the Immigration Clearance Desk.
An official bank is part of the Visa on Arrival Counter. Payment of Visa
fees can be made in all major currencies or by VISA or MASTERCARD.
RETIREMENT VISA
Retirement Visas, if you are over 55 years of age and are able to
support yourself and sufficient medical insurance you may be allowed to
enter into Indonesia, especially Bali, on an extended temporary basis.
BUSINESS VISA
Multi or Single Entry Business Visas must be obtained from your nearest
Indonesian Consulate. The purpose of this Visa is for doing Business
activities in Indonesia which do not involve taking up employment.
Sponsorship is required for this Visa by an Indonesian company.
WORKING PERMIT (KITAS)
For foreigners who want to stay and work in Bali, Indonesia they will also
need a sponsorship from an Indonesian based company.
